Losing a job, miscarriage, loss of financial stability, loss of a loved one, divorce, loss of safety after trauma, loss of confidence, loss of a friendship, loss of a dream, loss of family home, emigration, the list is long and how one person might react in response to their grief and loss highly differ and are unique to each individual. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, healing happens gradually and it can’t be forced or rushed.

Whatever your loss, it's personal to you, so don't believe that it's somehow only appropriate to grieve for certain things. If the person, animal, relationship, or situation was significant to you, it's normal to grieve the loss you're experiencing. At Mau Therapy, whatever the cause of your grief, you are helped to find healthy ways to cope with the pain that, in time, can ease your sadness and help you come to terms with your loss, find new meaning, and eventually move on with your life.

If you think you are experiencing grief or feel stuck in your grieving process, you are welcome to reach out to me for support.

"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
